Carol Bolton is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist who was a foundation member of APPWA. She is a past President of the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association of Australasia and a past Chair of Training of that organisation and of APPWA. Maggie is a psychotherapist trained in the Masterson Approach to Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. She is a teaching member of faculty of the International Masterson Institute. The nature of her private practice is primarily long-term depth psychotherapy and clinical supervision. She is an experienced trainer and supervisor, and has held roles in university and private training sectors teaching counsellors, psychotherapists and supervisors. She conducts clinical study groups for psychotherapists interested in expanding their capacity to work with disorders of self utilising diagnostic and treatment principles of the Masterson Approach.

Lee currently works in private practice in Mt Lawley with adolescents and adults. She integrates family systems theory, attachment theory, psychoanalytic psychotherapy and mindfulness in her work with clients. She completed formal training in infant observation, and with both children and adolescents and adults in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Lee has senior public service experience in Child Protection, CAMS child and adolescent psychiatry inpatient and outpatient services, and adult outpatient services as a Senior Specialist Clinical Psychologist.

She finally completed the APPWA training in 2006, and she continues her road to learning which she hopes does not have an end point.
