Is narcissism on the increase in society in general and in the population of patients? Is there such a thing as healthy narcissism? Where do guilt and personal responsibility link with narcissism? What are the issues for society and for clinicians in these areas? Is narcissism essentially a defence structure or more a characterological type? Is echoism always the counterpart to narcissism in couple relationships? And do therapists and counsellors ever see narcissists for treatment or do they only see the people around them? This event will address these interrelated questions from different perspectives, in ways which will offer help and food for thought for non-clinicians and clinicians.
